“Absolutely tremendous tour! Andy is so knowledgeable, clearly passionate about wildlife and has eagle eyes! Enabled me to fulfill my long standing desire to see the white tailed eagles amongst lots of other birds, golden eagles, deer and otters. Would happily book again and wholeheartedly recommend.”

“A great tour with Andy today. His first question was ‘what would you particularly like to see?’, and he knew just the spots to take us too. Very knowledgeable, informative and professional. Andy kept check of weather conditions and tide times, was considerate for the need of comfort breaks. He was recommended to my partner and I, we have no hesitation in giving him an outstanding review. His knowledge of wildlife, and Skye, blended with his enthusiasm, made for a memorable day. Book Early so you Don’t Miss Out
“Andy is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife, where to spot them an bow he decides where to take you. Weather, wind and time of year all playing a factor leading him and us all to each successful sighting on the tour today. His encyclopedic knowledge of each Loch, bluff and shoreline meant he knew where to find each of the beauties we saw today, White Tailed Sea Eagles x 3, golden eagles x eagles x 3, otters x 3, several Buzzards and sparrow hawks as well as kestrels and red deer. Incredible to see so many in one day trip. Dont for get the pods of common dolphins we saw in the sea lochs and the sound of Raasay.
Definitely book up early so you don’t miss out. Andy is easy going and good fun. We were 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a small dog, being able to take the young dog was a massive plus for us, but we were nervous she would bark and ruin it for others but think we managed to pull it off. Thanks Andy”
Truely Blew Expectations out of the Water
“Andy and his wildlife tour around the Isle of Skye was amazing! Truly blew expectations out of the water. Being in the middle of January, although the sky’s were grey, we still found and saw loads of wildlife. Andy’s knowledge is second to none, he knows where to look and is super clued up on what is about on Skye. We love birds and managed to see 32 species over the day, not counting passerines in the middle of winter! Stand-out were many Great Northern Divers, more than 20 Red-Throated Divers, and we were extremely blessed with a few Golden and White-tailed Eagles. Eiders, many Mergansers, Black Guillemots and a Slavonian Grebe also featured. It doesn’t stop there though. In one of the loch’s a pod of around 20 common dolphins showed well, a few red deer, seals, and… 4 Otters!
Andy’s hospitality was great, his van comfortable, toilet and food breaks spot on. It really made our time on Skye special, thank you!.”
Amazing Day Out
“Had a truly amazing day exploring Skye & spotting wildlife! We managed to see 6 sea eagles, 3 golden eagles, lots of seals & heron. Andrew is incredibly knowledgable and really worked hard to find what we wanted to see – couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much”

“Andy runs one of only a few wildlife tours of Skye, and we can highly recommend it for many reasons. To start with, he is a lovely and approachable man, he explains everything as he goes and loves to share his knowledge of the wildlife and of the Island of Skye itself. He is very dynamic with his his tours, as with nature and wildlife it can be very unpredictable at times so he will work with the current weather and season to pick the right route to show what wildlife will be active at the time.
The route includes a lunch stop for you to eat your packed lunch, and toilet breaks (in nice facilities for all you campers out there that might need it).
During our visit we saw eagles, buzzards, otters, seals and even a mink whale breaching once or twice. Andy has such a sharp eye and would always know exactly where to look and make sure we all could see the animals too!
We will definitely be recommending this tour to friends and will make sure to book it out again next time we visit.

“Fantastic day out with Andy around Skye – weather wasn’t fantastic but we still saw some magnificent wildlife! I said at one point that I’d love to see a golden eagle mobbed by ravens and lo and behold he found a spot where this was happening!!!
His enthusiasm for wildlife is infectious and he gave us all a good talk about conditions and sightings while we drove between spots. The rain couldn’t dampen his spirits no matter how hard it tried. We saw golden eagles, sea eagles, an otter, red throated divers, deer and seals. A fantastic day out for any wildlife enthusiast.

“Andy’s knowledge on wildlife in general and not just on Skye is second to none. I spend a lot of time myself in nature and was pleasantly surprised at how clued up he is. He has such a huge passion and respect for the wildlife, especially the birds in the island. He told us he was 95% sure he’d find us all we asked to see but I’m sure he’s underrating his estimations, he knew he’d find everything. I will add you will never believe how close you actually are to animals you’d love to see having andy there will open doors for you. If you’re heading to Skye a day out with Andy will be the number highlight of your stay!”
